Chevrolet Corvette Stingray costs £61,495
Wed, 19 Jun 2013The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will cost £61.5k in the UK The 2014 MY Corvette Stingray arrived at the Detroit Motor Show in January, and now it’s arriving in the UK. The new Stingray comes with a 6.2 litre LT1 V8 offering a modest (for its size) 455bhp and 460ln/ft of torque, enough to get the Stingray to 60mph in under 4 seconds and, say Chevy, still offer ‘improved’ economy over the old model. In the real world, though, that probably means under 20mpg.
Audi Sport Quattro concept (2013) at Frankfurt motor show
Wed, 04 Sep 2013The Audi Sport Quattro Concept will be shown at Frankfurt as a spiritual successor to the 1980s rallying legend. This time, the road-going version can muster 0-62mph in a stonking 3.7sec and top 189mph thanks to its 690bhp drivetrain. Haven’t we seen an Audi Quattro Concept before? Yes – but this is a different take on the 2010 Quattro concept, and may make it into showrooms.

If you own an iPhone, you’ll find CarPlay natural and intuitive – it’s this type of familiarity that car companies and Apple are banking on to win you over. Cars have been able to play your iTunes library and read texts for a while, but CarPlay takes this functionality to a whole new level.
