2012 Mercedes B Class - In dealers for Road Test in December With the latest Mercedes B Class having arrived at Frankfurt in September, Mercedes-Benz are now gearing up for customer tests from mid-December. As you can’t have failed to notice, the 2012 Mercedes B Class arrived at this years Frankfurt Motor Show, complete with a raft of detail and even more photos and video. Within the next two years Infiniti will launch an electric vehicle based on Nissan’s Leaf. But it won’t just be a Nissan with a new nose; instead the Infiniti version will, according to the company’s project design director Takashi Nakajima, be a ‘luxury EV’ with completely unique styling and a performance boost to boot. Infiniti’s EV won’t just be a re-badged Leaf with an Infiniti grille, though it will borrow heavily from Nissan’s electric car beneath the skin.

Audi to bring hybrid Q5 to U.S. in 2010

Audi will offer a hybrid version of its Q5 crossover in the United States starting in late 2010, says Wolfgang Hatz, head of powertrain development for the Volkswagen group. In an interview Sunday at the Detroit Auto Show , Hatz said Audi must offer a hybrid model to compete with rival vehicles that already offer the technology, such as the Lexus RX 400H. The BMW X6 will be offered as a hybrid late this year, and Mercedes plans to roll out a hybrid in each of its major models starting with the S400 hybrid this year.
