Sergio Pininfarina exhibition to open in Maranello

The late Sergio Pininfarina will be honored in a three-month special exhibition at the Ferrari museum in Maranello, Italy, from 26 October. The ‘Grandi Ferrari di Sergio Pininfarina' – Sergio Pininfarina's great Ferraris – exhibition will feature his classic designs and current Pininfarina evolutions in three halls: Concept Cars, Motorsports and Grand Touring Cars. The Concept Hall will be filled with famous designs such as the Modulo, the P6 and the four-door Pinin concept.

Driven: Fisker Karma

Even top-flight car designers are usually not known for their business acumen. So Henrik Fisker's announcement that he would build the "the world's first luxury plug-in hybrid" was met with some cynicism as he stood next to his Fisker Karma concept at the 2008 NAIAS in Detroit. University of Huddersfield Degree Show 2005

Transportation Design students at England's Huddersfield University displayed their work in the annual degree show in June. The exhibition at Huddersfield University also included a display of the production model of the Toniq R sports car that has been designed and produced by former students of the Transport Design course. In late June the exhibition moved to central London.
