Mercedes-Benz announces record sales for its AMG division

The announcement marks the first time Mercedes-Benz has officially confirmed annual sales figures for its AMG division. AMG's 2012 sales were believed to be around 20,000.

But ahead of the Model X actually arriving in Tesla Showrooms and customers’ hands, it looks like Tesla are set to add a 4WD option to the Model S using the drivetrain they’ve developed for the Model X.
