This mirror arm mounts to the 2 existing threaded holes in the door and includes the two mounting brackets. This USA made reproduction outside mirror arm is what came originally with these trucks. Sun, 01 Jun 2014The Hyundai Veloster Midship at the Busan Motor Show The Hyundai Veloster is actually a perfectly capable – if slightly quirky - sports car, which promises much but doesn’t actually deliver in terms of performance. In fact, when we reviewed the Hyundai Veloster a couple of years ago with its 1.6 litre petrol engine, we wondered if Hyundai would have been better giving the Veloster a diesel lump instead, which would at least have made its paucity of power less of a problem with more torque to play with. And the Veloster Turbo isn’t a huge amount better, only offering 184 bhp and taking 8.4 seconds to get to 62mph; figures we would have expected from the base Veloster if it were to be a properly credible competitor in the sector.
New Jaguar XJ Supersport Diesel coming?
Sun, 30 May 2010The Jaguar XJ Supersport TDV8 - expect it in showrooms in 2011 We’ve known for quite a while that Jaguar Land Rover were going to start putting a new V8 diesel in to their cars. The 3.6 litre TDV8 which goes in the Land Rover is a very good lump (made by Ford at Dagenham) with some decent horses and a nice fat lump of torque. But the introduction by Jaguar of the 3.0 litre diesel and its subsequent introduction in to Land Rover’s cars meant the 3.6 litre’s days were numbered.
Mazda brings diesel back to Indy with 6 Skyactiv-D
Fri, 26 Jul 2013Diesel has enjoyed great success lately as a racing fuel, but there's one place it hasn't appeared for more than six decades: Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Mazda's breaking that dry spell this weekend, when its Mazda 6 Skyactiv-D race car will head to Indy for the Grand-Am race. We like the 6 in both road trim and racing livery, but that previous diesel-powered racer -- the Cummins Diesel Special -- is pretty neat too.
