You are bidding on some door mirrors I removed from a 1989 Dodge Truck. Will work for 1972 - 1992 models, but I do not think they are correct for 72 - 80 models. These look very similar, but they are different. If you set them side by side you can tell the bases have a little different shape. Looks to me like driver side was a replacement mirror, it does bolt right up to the factory mounting bracket. Once installed you cannot tell the difference as they are not right next to each other.

Both of the brackets are included, which are hard to find as they have 3 small spot welds that hold them to the inside of the door. I popped them off with an air chisel, so there are some bends in them, once installed they will go right back into place.

The plastic chrome coating is cracked in some places, I took pictures of all of the flawed chrome areas. The main glass mirrors look nice, the small round stick on mirrors do have some black spots on them, if it were me I would remove them or replace them, they are aftermarket add ons anyway.

Overall a good pair of mirrors for a driver IMO. SOLD AS IS, AS THEY DO HAVE THE LISTED FLAWS AND THE MIRRORS ARE NOT A PERFECT MATCH. FREE SHIPPING as always!

VW Taigun: It’s an Up! SUV

Mon, 22 Oct 2012

Volkswagen has revealed the VW Taigun at the Sao Paulo Motor Show in Brazil, a very compact SUV based on the VW Up! The Taigun is 3859mm long and 1728mm wide, making it a chunk smaller than the next VW SUV up (the Tiguan) and smaller even than Nissan’s Juke, but it gets an extra 50mm in the wheelbase compared to the Up so interior room looks decent. Vw say the Taigun is purposely designed to look just like a mini-me Tiguan or Touareg (and sound like one too) with its very similar styling, high ride height, skid plates and roof rails with an interior that offers room for four and enough spce for 280 litre of stuff in the boot (a plentiful 987 litres with the back seats folded).
