Dr Zetsche opens CES with keynote speech

Hot on the heels of the unveiling of the new Mercedes-Benz SL in Detroit yesterday, Dr. Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of Daimler AG hot-footed it to Las Vegas to open the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas with a keynote speech that highlighted the company's direction in the ever-important tech space. Lotus Evora 414E Hybrid (2010): first news

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 24 February 2010 18:00 Lotus has confirmed the full details of its new Evora Hybrid, or the Lotus Evora 414E Hybrid Concept Car, to give it the full, long-winded name. It's a plug-in petrol-electric hybrid car in keeping with Hethel's performance credentials: it'll hit 60mph in 'less than 4sec'. The range of the Evora hybrid testbed is said to be more than 300 miles.

The Nissan Micra Limited Edition (pictured) comes in a choice of three colours with contrast roof The Nissan Micra was given a facelift last year to try and remove perceptions of cost-cutting by Nissan after they took production of the Micra off to India, and now we get a titivation of that facelift with the Nissan Micra Limited Edition. But instead of doing what most car makers do, which is adding extra spec for less than it would cost to option it, Nissan’s idea of a special edition is to give it some unique cosmetics. So the Micra Limited Edition comes in a choice of three colour schemes with a contrast roof and mirrors - Pacific Blue with a White roof and mirrors, Shiraz Red with a Black roof and mirrors and Alabaster White with a Red roof and mirrors.
