Nissan Denki Cube concept
Thu, 20 Mar 2008By Liz Turner Motor Shows 20 March 2008 16:24 Nissan's cute Cube will go on sale in the US in 2009 and a production version will be unveiled at the next LA Auto Show, Nissan announced in New York. This will be a petrol Cube: an electric Cube, based on the Denki concept unveiled in NY will follow. 'Denki' is Japanese for electric and the concept is the current Cube with a new EV powertrain, with various trim tweaks to remind you of the battery power.

That meant the SC getting 261bhp and the 5-door Cupra 280 a very appealing 276bhp, enough to get the 280 to 62mph (when fitted with the DSG ‘box) in 5.7 seconds – appealingly lively. Not surprisingly, there were plenty of SEAT fans wanting to get up close and personal with the Leon Cupra 280, so SEAT invited a lucky pair to get suitably suited and led them in to an extreme simulator for the virtual drive of their life.

Tue, 16 Jun 2009The Fiat Bravo MSN has been launched to coincide with the Bravo Tour Charity Event Which all brings to mind that famous quote by Bill Gates – “If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25 cars that got 1000 MPG” Which in turn brought a response from GM, which took exception to Bill’s statement, and issued a press release countering his assertion, which is worth the read in full: If GM had kept up with technology like the Computer Industry has, then: 1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash……..Twice a day. 2.
