Mon, 09 Sep 2013The new Mercedes S-Class Coupe (pictured) teased ahead of Frankfurt Now we have the new Mercedes S-Class in the wild, the next step is the arrival of its various siblings, including the ultra luxury Pullman version. the convertible S-Class and this, the new Mercedes S-Class Coupe. Designed to replace the current Mercedes CL, the new S-Class Coupe will put a bit bit more distance between the rather staid S-Class saloon and its coupe version this time round, with Mercedes hoping the new Coupe will take the fight properly to cars like the Bentley Continental GT.

Tue, 12 Jan 2010Motown may not have rediscovered its mojo but at least the car makers formerly known as the Big Three have regained a little bit of their old swagger since the misery of last year’s Detroit show. After all, it’s not every year that two out of three national car makers go bankrupt. The survivor, Ford, unsurprisingly looked the most confident at this year’s show, never mind that its star car was about as hometown as Bauhaus and bratwurst.
New Audi e-Tron at Detroit – the ‘Compact’ e-Tron
Mon, 11 Jan 2010Audi has revealed a compact version of the e-Tron at the Detroit Motor Show Audi brought along the first Audi e-Tron to the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Looking like an electric version of the Audi R8, it managed to steal some of the thunder from BMW’s Vision ED concept . Most notable was the stratospheric torque figures Audi quoted, which ultimately turned out to be somewhat disingenuous.
