Motorists Worried About Safety On Smart Motorways
Fri, 09 May 2014THE IAM is calling for more information and advice on ‘smart’ motorways for drivers. The call comes after a poll conducted by the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) discovered that seventy-one per cent of drivers said they would feel less safe on a motorway with no hard shoulder than a motorway with one. One of the main concerns of respondents is the plan to increase the distance between safety refuges with forty-eight per cent believing that safety refuges should be no more than 500 yards apart.
Ferrari celebrates 30 years in Hong Kong

Ferrari's president Luca di Montezemolo was in attendance alongside a spectacular display of over 600 Ferraris - the largest gathering ever in Greater China - arranged to form the traditional five-petal flower. The gathering also was used to show the firm's latest offering the 458 Speciale which was unveiled by Marc Gene, the Scuderia F1 team's chief test driver.
Aston Martin Vantage gets V12, but we won't get the car
Wed, 04 Feb 2009The Aston Martin V12 Vantage, the hottest version of the two-seat coupe, is the latest step in the automaker's new-model offensive for 2009. Revealed just days after the Rapide four-door, the V12 Vantage is the second of four major reveals from Aston this year. Also coming is the DBS convertible, which will share stand space at Geneva with the V12 Vantage and a concept for a new Lagonda, the dormant brand that Aston plans to bring back to life as a super-luxury Rolls-Royce/Maybach challenger.
