Winners announced in Factory Five design competition
Fri, 17 Jun 2011Earlier this year, we brought you news of an open-sourced design competition from American kit car manufacturer, Factory Five. The car would feature a bespoke space-frame chassis, but the mechanicals would be lifted from the Impreza to allow the car to sell for under $15,000.
MG Design Centre opens in UK

And thankfully credible too, because now all of MG's global design will genuinely be led from this new facility in the epicentre of England's traditional motoring heartland.

But one company that is efficiently going about putting together a workable, high performance car is Fisker, who have been working on their electric saloon car – The Fisker Karma – for less than two years.
