2011 Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang gets more power, loses gas-guzzler tax
Mon, 08 Feb 2010The 2011 version of the Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang carries a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 that weighs less, delivers more power and uses a unique spray-coating process that eliminates the need for cast-iron liners in the aluminum cylinder block. The 550-hp Shelby GT500 also loses something from the previous model--it's gas-guzzler tax. Ford says the new Shelby GT500 will deliver 23 mpg on the highway and 15 mpg in the city.

But at the Sepang Track in Malaysia this morning, Lewis Hamilton had no such problems and was ahead of the pack from lights to flag to take a convincing win for Mercedes, 17.3 seconds ahead of his team mate Nico Rosberg in second place with reigning champion Sebastian Vettel trailing in third. An impressive Mercedes one-two in Kuala Lumpur.
Enthusiasts say good-bye to Ferrari expert Gerald Lee Roush
Tue, 25 May 2010Influential Ferrari expert Gerald Lee Roush, the founding editor and publisher of the Ferrari Market Letter, died on May 21 after complications from a heart attack. He was 68. Born in Durango, Colo., Roush started his publication while teaching history at Abraham Baldwin College, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
