And it seems to work. Buyers like something that stands out from the crowd and of which there will be a limited run. Peugeot may have suffered the ignominy of being dumped from France’s elite stock market listings, but that isn’t going to stop the French car maker making something of a show on their home turf at the Paris Motor Show this month. We’ve already confirmed that Peugeot are taking the production versions of the new 208 GTi and 208 XY to Paris, and they are also taking the hybrid supercar Peugeot Onyx Concept.
Chevrolet to build 100 millionth Small Block engine
Fri, 19 Aug 2011The 100 millionth copy of the Chevrolet Small Block engine will roll off the production line before the end of the year--a major milestone for the brand. The Chevy Small Block V8 was first introduced in 1955, laying the foundation for decades of vehicle performance and sustaining a competitive name for Chevy in the market. "The introduction of the Small Block changed everything," General Motors vice president Jim Campbell said.
