Apple iWatch illegal to use while driving

The Department for Transport (DfT) has confirmed that any driver caught using Apple’s new iWatch wearable technology behind the wheel will receive the same penalty as if they were using a mobile phone. The new “smartwatch” was announced this week and allows wearers to read text messages, make phone calls and browse the internet on the device. New Toyota Auris starts rolling out at Burnaston

The new 2013 Toyota Auris – Toyota’s modern Corolla – has commenced production at the Toyota plant in Burnaston. Toyota revealed the new Auris back in August – ahead of a public debut at the Paris Motor Show – which, although pretty much the previous Auris when you dig deep, does offer a more dynamic look and the promise of better driving dynamics too. With the new Auris a big deal for Toyota in Europe, Toyota are trumpeting the start of Auris production in Burnaston and have rolled out Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business, to mark the occasion.

New Chevrolet Colorado pickup is headed for U.S. showrooms

The redesigned Chevrolet Colorado pickup, which is launching this month in Thailand, will be sold in the United States, Chevrolet said on Monday. The new Colorado was developed by General Motors' Brazil operations to be sold globally. GM said the current Colorado will be sold through the 2012 model year.
