Think a Mercedes wagon for picky types who find the E-class Estate a tad too sensible.Stuttgart is being unusually candid about this car's provenance, sprinkling the press kit with hints that this will join the next CLS family as a sporty, crossover coupé-estate.

Charles Morgan to build rival cars

Sacked Morgan boss Charles Morgan is to set up new sports car company that he says will rival the 104-year-old British car manufacturer that bears his family name and recently dismissed him. In a report in the Telegraph, Charles is quoted as saying his new company will “build on the innovation and heritage of my grandfather”. Mercedes GLA crossover (2013) preview teaser video

Mercedes has released a teaser video of its new GLA crossover ahead of its appearance at the 2013 Frankfurt motor show. The design sketches shown below were also revealed this week on the official Mercedes Facebook page. We’ve spotted the GLA in testing before, and it’s the fourth body style built in the new A-class platform.
