Video: The Making of the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

In a new video exploring the design of the AMG Vision Gran Turismo, Mercedes-Benz designers speak of their excitement at designing without restrictions. The video, which features figures such as design vice-president Gorden Wagener, traces the car's development from the sketch phase to the final model – unveiled at last month's Los Angeles auto show. Aston Martin DBS Volante – up to £60k off as AM struggle to shift stock

Tue, 30 Oct 2012

The Aston Martin DBS Volante can now be had new for £60k off list as AML struggle to shift stock with the new Vanquish replacing the DBS. The first believes that Aston Martin has reinvented its range of cars with every update over the last decade – just as Porsche has with the 911. The other, perhaps the most prevalent, is that every Aston Martin we have now is a work of art, but basically the same car it was a decade ago.

Lamborghini LP560-4 Superleggera coming?

Fri, 18 Sep 2009

What appears to be a Lamborhgini LP560-4 Superleggera out testing But if the photo above is anything to go by it looks as if Lamborghini is planning a Superleggera version of the LP560-4 sooner rather than later. Which would work out pretty well for Lamborghini as they have rashly declared that they will deliver a new car at every road show, and with the replacement for the Murcielago cars – LP640/LP650-4/LP670-4 – still some way off, this could be a  good solution. They’ve run out of new cars for shows after revealing the Lamborghini Reventon Roadster this week at Frankfurt, so they need to get a bit of a hustle on before the next major show if they’re going to keep their promise.
