Kia has released renderings of its 2014 Forte model, known as the K3 in Korea and the Cerato in the European market, ahead of its debut at this year's Los Angeles auto show in November. The renderings show the Kia family tiger nose grille, while a rising line sweeps from the front to the rear, giving the car a much more aggressive stance than its predecessor. A steeply-raked windscreen and blacked-out side window frames, emphasized by a chrome strip around the side graphics, creating a more dynamic profile.

Catalytic converter thefts double in three years

Associated Press Thefts of catalytic converters from cars have more than doubled in less than three years, according to an investigation by the BBC. Data compiled from 40 police regions across the UK reveal that in 2012 a total of 8,947 catalytic converters thefts were reported, compared to 3,957 similar cases recorded in 2010. GTO Judge poised for a comeback

The Trans Am Depot is adding to its lineup of converted classic muscle cars with the 2014 GTO Judge, based on the Chevy Camaro. The company already builds a “Smoky and the Bandit,” Trans Am, Trans Am Hurst Edition and what they call the 6T9 GTO, all made to look vaguely like the originals. Trans Am Depot only teased the new classic on its website in a video, but it impressively beats a current gen Shelby Mustang in a drag race.
