BMW X3 reloaded
Fri, 04 Jun 2010BMW has revealed the first official details of its second-generation X3 prior to its world debut at the upcoming Paris motor show. Set to go on sale in the United States in January 2011, BMW says the new X3 will be priced close to the outgoing model. The upmarket off-roader has been completely redesigned and reengineered in a move BMW hopes will see it emulate the first-generation model's success, sales of which have now topped the 600,000 mark worldwide since its introduction in 2003.
Toyota recalls 86,500 hybrids in the U.S, 250,000 cars total
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Toyota Motor Corp. is recalling 242,000 hybrid vehicles worldwide, including 86,500 Toyota Prius and Lexus HS 250h hybrids in the United States, to fix a braking glitch. The problem affects only model year 2010 Prius and HS 250h vehicles.
BMW gets new North America boss
Tue, 26 Jul 2011Veteran BMW executive Ludwig Willisch, who has led sales operations in Europe and Japan, will take over as CEO of BMW of North America on Oct. 1. The 54-year-old German will replace Jim O'Donnell, 61, who is retiring.
