Our friends at Bring a Trailer are offering a gorgeous unrestored 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Normale. The 65,000-mile California car is claimed to be “one of the most original 101-series Giulietta Sprints in existence today with all-original interior, mostly original paint, perfect gauges, factory engine-compartment components, no accidents, and straight chrome and trim.” Curiously, the engine and transmission were removed and rebuilt in 1975 but were never reinstalled. After last week's leak, here is the official announcement of the Renault Alpine A110-50. These new photos reveal a mid-engined sports car shadowing the Renault Dezir, but with an Alpine twist. As hinted at by that name, the A110-50 doffs its cap to the golden anniversary of the original Alpine A110 - as does that Alpine Blue paint job.

Warning over minicab 'free-for-all'

RAPE AND sex assaults could rise due to plans to allow minicab owners to lend their vehicles out to anyone when not at work, police bosses have warned. A cross-party group of Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) across England and Wales said planned deregulation will lead to a "free-for-all". Currently, only licensed private hire drivers can drive a marked private hire vehicle, drivers have to be regularly re-licensed and there are restrictions on vehicles operating across local authority boundaries.
