Sacked Morgan boss Charles Morgan is to set up new sports car company that he says will rival the 104-year-old British car manufacturer that bears his family name and recently dismissed him. In a report in the Telegraph, Charles is quoted as saying his new company will “build on the innovation and heritage of my grandfather”. Wacky Racer Returns For Third Attempt At Legendary Hillclimb Event

MITSUBISHI has announced that it will return to the famous Pikes Peak Hill Climb event later this month. 2014 will be the Japanese firm’s third straight attempt at setting the fastest time at the Colorado-based event. Last year saw Peugeot blitz the opposition with its star driver Sebastien Loeb.

Fifth Gear Returns to TV in April with a new format Fifth Gear was everyone’s second favourite car show on TV. And that second favourite label seemed to be its undoing when FIVE decided last year to ditch the show after it failed to make any impact on the ratings against everyone’s favourite car show on TV – Top Gear. But FIVE (channel five if we ditch the trendy CAPITALS) have had a change of heart, done a syndication deal or two for Fifth Gear and are putting together a new series (they’ve actually commissioned two of them) which should hit TV screens at the end of next month.
