Double Cardan Rear Drive Shaft 6" lift 2003 Jeep Rubicon

Completely rebuilt approx. 6 months ago

New U-Joints and pivot rebuild

Comes with Billet Aluminum Spacer

Went with a TATTON when I upgraded my complete suspension

Reason for the spacer my mechanic said mounting holes on drive shaft flange did not match with mass-vibration Dampener on transfer case

On drive shaft flange holes measured 2 1/2" on a straight measure 3 1/2" Diag

On the Spacer/Transfer Case Holes measured 2 3/4" straight measure & 4" Diag

Don't know if transfer case was replaced or if drive shaft was from something else and spacer fabricated to compensate for the difference, non-the-less it worked fine with no issues.

But when I ordered my new shaft from Tatton it bolted right to the MVD so this shaft must have been from something other than the 2003 rubicon

Like I said this drive shaft was mounted on my 2003 Jeep Rubicon with 6 inches of lift

Measurements of drive shaft are Compressed Approx. 15 1/2 inches

Full Extension 17 1/2 inches

This is with the Spacer    The Spacer measures approx. 7/8 inch

Steve McQueen Porsche 911 hammers at $1.375 million during RM Monterey auction

Sat, 20 Aug 2011

Setting a world record for a Porsche 911 sold at auction, Steve McQueen's 1970 Porsche 911S went to a new owner for a cool $1.375 million during RM Auctions' Monterey event on Friday. The 911 wasn't just owned by McQueen; it also featured prominently at the beginning of the film Le Mans as the lead character, played by McQueen, drives through France reflecting on the realities of racing. Hagerty's Rob Sass and I checked out the car on Wednesday night at the RM Auctions preview.

GT Academy winner Heitkotter's next step is the 24 Hours of Dubai

Thu, 03 Nov 2011

It all culminates in January at the 24 Hours of Dubai: That's when video-game player and GT Academy winner Bryan Heitkotter will race, professionally, with European GT Academy winner Jann Mardenborough in a Nissan 370Z. The GT Academy was a contest that started last December in which Gran Turismo 5 players competed for a seat in a real race car. Thousands entered, 32 players rose to the top, and 16 of those were invited to a seven-day whirlwind racing and evaluation program at the Silverstone circuit in the United Kingdom.

New McLaren 650S Coupe & Spider: OFFICIAL

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

The new McLaren 650S Coupe (pictured) officially revealed After an initial tease last week, we had the first official photos of the new McLaren 650s yesterday which has prompted McLaren to do the right thing and officially reveal the new 650S today. Just as we’ve already reported, the 650S is a more focused 12C with front end styling that takes its lead from the McLaren P1, more power – up from 616bhp in the 12C to 641bhp (650PS) – and more focus on driver engagement. That new P1 front end new LED headlights mark the 650S out from the 12C, with a more integrated front splitter increasing downforce and door blades behind the front wheels directing air from the trailing edges of the splitter for better front end grip.
