The HiT clutch from Dr. Pulley's PRO SERIES rounds out the top of of the crop of clutches. The innovative HiT clutch uses motor torque - not just centrifugal force alone - a combination that puts this product in the upper end of power performance clutch systems. Made of two interlocked movable parts, it's originality is due to using a cleverly devised sliding/wedge system to create additional pressure that combines both torque and centrifugal energy - as opposed to the average clutch system which relies on centrifugal force alone. The stronger the motor (higher resistance for your motor to work with), means more pressure for the sliding/wedge to exert on the surface of the clutch shoes, which means saving performance energy that would otherwise be lost.

We’ll get to see the new Lexus IS 300h at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show together with an Opal Blue LF-CC and extended F Sport range. Probably of most interest – because we’ve not seen it in Europe yet, is the new Lexus IS 300h, the hybrid version of the 2013 Lexus IS – revealed at Detroit last month – which Lexus hope will pick up sales from the diesel competition. Lexus will be adding the F Sport trim to the IS 300h too to show that their cars can look as dynamic as those from Audi’s S Line, Mercedes’ AMG or BMW’s M Sport which, with an expected output of around 220bhp from the electric motor and 2.5 litre engine, isn’t all that incongruous.

Ferrari posts record sales despite economic uncertainty

Global economic waters are far from calm, but Ferrari has managed to steer clear of the turmoil. The Italian automaker has released sales figures for the first six months of 2012, and they’re impressive by any measure. Revenues for the first half of the year are up nearly 12 percent, and net profits have risen 10 percent to over $130 million.
