THE Draco Purple Spring
When you order a 400# spring from Draco - a 400# spring is what you receive. There's no need to buy 10 and pick out the 4 closest to 400#. Each spring is hand coiled and put through an extensive inspection. Each purple spring is tested on a Roehrig tester and a load sheet is provided with each spring.
This is THE Spring of the future!
Draco Spring is striving to manufacture the best suspension spring on the market. With 30+ years in the business, Draco Springs are the first choice for top Nextel Cup, Busch and Craftsman Truck Series teams. Each and every Purple Spring is hand coiled from the highest quality alloy, put through extensive inspections and then powder coated purple.
These proven springs originated from the Nextel Cup when several teams were having trouble getting high quality, low spring rate springs, so the Draco Spring was being built and sold as a custom solution. Nextel Cup teams continue to run THE Purple Spring today to avoid spring sag or loss of ride height.

Scion FR-S concept
Thu, 21 Apr 2011Another day, another variation on the fabled Toyota FT-86. Following on from the FT-86 II at Geneva and the re-emergence of the original version at the Seoul Auto Show, New York played host to the Scion FR-S concept. Unsurprisingly, the FR-S boasts the same front-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car demeanor - hence the name - but differs visually from the other variations from the long awaited Toyota.

MG Rover – Serious Fraud Office (SFO) to investigate
Sun, 05 Jul 2009The Rover 75 Coupe - one of MG Rover's last big ideas before its collapse in 2005 MG Rover was bought from BMW for the princely sum of £10 after BMW had had enough of trying to make a viable company out of a business that was still undermined by the woes – and attitudes – of the British Leyland years. That £10 purchase price also came with £425 million in loans from BMW, so MG Rover had a chance. But the collapse, and the subsequent sale of the rights to the MG trademark to SAIC (Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation), brought accusations that the ‘Phoenix Four’ – Directors and owners of MG Rover – has acted fraudulently when it was revealed they had acquired more than £40 million in pension rights, salary and assets in the intervening five years between purchase from BMW and collapse.
