Pair of 17" dragster/altered front wire wheels These are Akronts, but they are not matched. If you look at the pictures, you can see the rib on the one is a little different. Both are the same size, has bearings, fits Anglia P & S spindles. Some minor scuffing on them. Has Goodyear Eagle Front Runner tires, not weather checked, but I don't know if I'd run them on a competition car. |

BMW designer Chapman joins Hyundai Motor America

GM may extend Saab deadline, report says
Tue, 29 Dec 2009General Motors is prepared to wait beyond the end of this week before deciding on the future of Saab as it reviews remaining bids, Bloomberg News reported. The news agency quoted Saab board member Paul Aakerlund as saying that if there is a bid that GM finds sufficiently interesting, then GM's Dec. 31 decision to wind down its Swedish unit "is not a date that's holy.” Aakerlund said GM told Saab last week that it would wind down Saab and simultaneously continue talks with bidders about a sale, said Aakerlund, who also heads the IF Metall union at Saab.
GM's top battery executive for the Volt to join California startup
Thu, 25 Feb 2010General Motors's top executive in charge of developing batteries for the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid is leaving to take a position with an unnamed startup battery company in California. Denise Gray, 46, global director of rechargeable energy storage systems, will step down March 5 after more than three years in the post. This was “an opportunity that I could just not resist,” Gray said in a phone interview.
