Draw-Tite was started in 1946 by Bill Whichello, an inventor. Bill's first product was a clothes line tightener. He called it a Draw-Tite. Unfortunately, that was about the time residential clothes dryers became popular and there wasn't much call for the original Draw-Tite. Fortunately, Bill was also an avid RV'er. He built a trailer hitch for his car and, since he already had the name copyrighted, he called it a Draw-Tite. Soon, Draw-Tite became a symbol of craftsmanship in the towing industry. The basis of Draw-Tite's continued success is that our trailer hitches are custom-fit for each vehicle. This makes them easy to install. A dealer simply bolts Draw-Tite's one piece, welded trailer hitches to the vehicle's frame. Most installations take 30 minutes or less. Our trailer hitches are covered by a Nationwide/Lifetime limited warranty. We have over 10,000 dealers throughout North America. So wherever you live or travel, there is always a knowledgeable and helpful Draw-Tite dealer nearby. This is especially important when you consider nearly 100% of our consumers use their trailer hitch to tow outside of their local area. Currently, Draw-Tite manufactures over 750 different trailer hitches and over 600 accessories and parts covering approximately 3850 vehicle applications. Hyundai Veloster Turbo gets cheaper
Wed, 19 Sep 2012Hyundai are set to launch an additional model of the Velsoter Turbo to sit below the Turbo SE for around £2 less. With the regular Hyundai Veloster starting at £18k and the Velsoter Turbo at £22k, Hyundai has worked out there’s a middle ground price point – can you guess what it is? So to fill that gap (yes, it’s a £20k entry point) Hyundai are to launch the bog-standard Veloster Turbo (without the SE badge) which will lose some of the equipment but, as far as we can see, keep the butch cosmetic bits on the exterior.
McLaren plans three models, including £60k sports car

We’re following developments at McLaren’s Woking HQ with interest and – weeks after we published world-exclusive pictures of the P11 styling buck (above) – today we can reveal that McLaren is readying three separate model ranges. McLaren Automotive, the car-building arm of the McLaren Group, is plotting a three-tier range of sports cars, CAR understands. Under the McLaren Development Plan, Ron Dennis and the other directors plan to expand the manufacturing base dramatically.
