Drive Shaft Saver 554 Drive Saver Drivesaver Marine Coupler Breakaway on 2040-parts.com
Springfield, South Dakota, United States
New drive shaft saver, 4.625 (4 5/8) inches center to center bolt pattern with 3/8" bolts. Right at 1.011" thick. #554. New never used. Slight surface on a few cast in lugs would no affect on performance. Been sitting on shelf in side my shop for a few years. I ordered wrong size, need a smaller 4.25 bolt pattern.

Caterham Sevens reimagined as classic F1 cars
Tue, 20 May 2014You could never really call the Caterham Seven modern – its look has remained fundamentally unchanged since the original Lotus Seven (the car Caterham would eventually buy the rights to build) launched back in 1957. Today, the engine is still in the front, those delightfully exposed front wheels still float over bumps and the frog-eyed headlights serve as a reminder of years gone by. And now the modern Seven has been taken right back to the period where it was first conceived, with these Grand Prix-style racers from Zolland Design.
VW Group planning 10-speed DSG, new powerful diesel engine & more plug-in hybrids
Sun, 28 Apr 2013The end of the internal combustion engine is nigh, they say, as the world tries to clean up its environmental act and works towards a goal of electric motors to power our personal transport. But car makers are fighting that belief by extracting more power for less fuel from ICE engines, and there’s still a very long way to go before the ICE engine is consigned to the history books. Volkswagen has already reduced the fuel consumption of both their diesel and petrol engines by 30 per cent since 2000 and plan a further reduction of 15 per cent by 2020.
