Joe Gibbs Driven XP1 Synthetic racing motor oil is used by Joe Gibbs Racing in all their unrestricted racing engines and is designed to handle 500 miles of competition, over 9,500 rpm and temperatures above 250 degrees F. The oil reduces friction and fights valve-train wear, especially in flat-tappet engines by utilizing multiple synthetic base oils, and anti-wear and friction reducing additives. The Joe Gibbs Driven Synthetic XP1 motor oil is compatible with methanol and high octane race fuels and made for V8 engines with ultra tight clearances. It will perform best in engines operating with oil temperatures between 180 and 240 degrees F.

Racing applications:

* NASCAR
* Legends car engines
* Mini Sprint engines
* Spec engines
* Small block drag race engines

We've seen it at the Nordschleife dropping a supercar-like time of 7 minutes, 41.27 seconds around the 13-mile, 170-turn track. Now it's time to learn a little bit about what it takes to stabilize such a powerful beast at speed.
