Refreshed Audi A6 Unveiled

GERMAN car maker Audi has released the first details about its revised A6 range. Key improvements centre on styling, equipment, engine performance and efficiency, with the first customer deliveries expected before the end of the year. Revised prices have yet to be announced but Audi is expecting the updated range to start from £32,000.

Next Jaguar XJ takes styling cues from the XF

Jaguar is putting the finishing touches on its heavily revised 2011 XJ sedan, remaking its flagship sedan in the mold of the XF sedan. Based on a re-engineered version of today's all-aluminum XJ chassis introduced with the sedately styled 2004 model, the next XJ will be significantly different in appearance, drawing its coupelike-sedan inspiration from the Ian Callum-penned XF. General Motors will hire 1,000 engineers and researchers in Michigan for research and development of electric vehicles, CEO Dan Akerson said on Tuesday morning in Detroit. The new hires will work on batteries, electric motors and power-control technology. Akerson made the announcement at the factory that builds the 2011 Chevrolet Volt.
