Drop Engineering gold lug nuts are carefully crafted from AL7075-T6. T6 temper 7075 Aluminum is an aircraft quality alloy, boasting an impressive ultimate tensile strength of 74,000 - 78,000 psi (pound per square in) and minimum yield strength of 63,000 - 69,000 psi. This level of strength guarantees that the Drop lug nuts will hold up even under the most demanding racing conditions. Drop Engineering forges all of their lug nuts from AL7075 because it guarantees the greatest level of tolerance without any added weight.

Ferrari plans to create a collector's club to give loyal customers a better chance of owning one of the company's limited edition cars. The club likely will be open only to people who possess at least five Ferraris. The Italian supercar brand says there are about 300 collectors worldwide who own five or more Prancing Horse models.

Toyota, Daihatsu's parent company, bought a 9% shareholding in Subaru's parent company in 2005. So the Daihatsu Sirion 1.0 is an obvious donor car; its £7500 starting price and 57mpg stretch the Subaru range down to a whole new budget marketplace.

Hospital staff face 'extortionate' parking charges

HOSPITAL bosses have been branded immoral for introducing "extortionate" parking charges for staff who need their cars for work. The union Unite said England should come in line with Scotland and Wales where NHS staff were not made to pay to park. The union was responding to South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust's decision last month to start charging health visitors and community nurses £1.20 an hour to park.
