The styling echoes the new Chevy Malibu saloon, and the designers claim to have added seven miles to the Volt’s electric-only range by smoothing some of the edges and creases in the original shape. They claim the Volt will now travel 40 miles on electric power, enough for the daily needs of 70 percent of American drivers.

No exterior photos have been issued yet, but Volvo today released some teaser shots of the new S60's cabin. The former F1 world champion is pursuing money owed to him and issued a petition to close down P1 to pay the debt. But Hill’s co-founder of P1 International, and current chief executive officer, Michael Breen told CAR Online that the petition to wind up his business had been unsuccessful.
