WHAT THIS MEANS IS IF YOU HAVE A '04/'05/'06 749R or '04/'05/'06 999R or '05/'06/'07 999/999S IT WILL FIT ! IN ADDITION, IT WILL FIT SOME SHALLOW SUMP 749 SUPERBIKES WITH THE NEW BOXED SWINGARM AS FOLLOWS: '05/'06 749/749S - WILL NOT FIT THE 749 "DARK" MODELS.
THIS TERMIGNONI 57 mm FULL RACE EXHAUST SYSTEM DOES NOT COME WITH THE DUCATI PERFORMANCE RACE ECU. THIS MEANS THAT YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL A DYNOJET POWER COMMANDER, NEMISIS ECU, OR MICROTEC ECU FOR PROPER FUEL MAPPING AND PERFORMANCE. OR YOU CAN HAVE YOUR EXISTING ECU REFLASHED BY SPECIFIC VENDORS OR BUY THEM ON EBAY ALREADY MAPPED. THIS IS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN THE BEST AND SMOOTHEST PERFORMANCE FROM THIS EXHAUST SYSTEM.
OVERALL THE HEADERS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH ONLY NORMAL DISCOLORATION. THE MUFFLER IS THE STAINLESS STEEL VERSION, NOT TITANIUM, BUT IS LIKEWISE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THIS WHOLE SYSTEM IS READY TO BOLT ON EXCEPT FOR SOME SPACERS FOR THE LEFT REAR SETS AND THE SMALL ROUND BRACKET THAT ATTACHES THE VERTICAL HEADERS TO THE FRAME TAB. THIS FEW ITEMS CAN EASILY BE FABRICATED OR SOURCED ONLINE.
DUCATI NO LONGER MAKES OR SELLS THE 57MM RACE EXHAUST. THEY ARE BECOMING HARDER AND HARDER TO FIND AS IS ALMOST ANY EXHAUST SYSTEM FOR THE 749/999 SERIES. ONLY A FEW VENDORS STILL MAKE A SYSTEM FOR THE 999, SO DON'T PASS UP THIS OPPORTUNITY TO PICK ONE UP.

NHTSA investigates 2011-12 Ford Mustang for gearbox problems
Mon, 08 Aug 2011The National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration has opened a preliminary investigation into 26,000 manual-equipped Ford Mustangs from model years 2011 to 2012, the organization said on Sunday. NHTSA has received 32 complaints of an inability to shift gears, some nearly resulting in crashes. The complaints range from the grinding of gears to the complete lockout of others.
