DUCATI 748R REAR TAIL / SEAT SECTION

WITH SOME MOUNTING HARDWARE

LISTING IS FOR THE TAIL BODY SECTION / REAR FAIRING ONLY. PT # 483.1.019.1A

THIS TAIL SECTION / REAR FAIRING WAS IMMEDIATELY REMOVED FROM A NEW 748R UPON DELIVERY IN 2002. THE BIKE WAS PURCHASED SOLELY FOR TRACK USE, SO ALL OF THE BODY WORK WAS IMMEDIATELY REMOVED. THE TAIL SECTION HAS BEEN GARAGE STORED UNTIL NOW...TEN + YEARS.

OVERALL, THE FACTORY YELLOW / WHITE PAINT IS IMMACULATE. THE ONLY ISSUE IS A VERY SMALL SECTION OF THE GOLD PIN-STRIPE THAT SHOWS SOME VERY LIGHT PAINT LOSS...IT MUST HAVE RUBBED AGAINST SOMETHING WHILE IN STORAGE (SEE PICS, SHOWN NEAR THE PEN TIP). DESPITE THE SMALL ISSUE, THE PIECE IS BEAUTIFUL.

ITEM DOES NOT INCLUDE A SEAT PAD OR HARDWARE, HOWEVER IT DOES INCLUDE THE UNDER SEAT PLATE (PART#827.1.108.1A) AND THE TWO PINS (PART #832.1.008.1A)

RETAIL FOR THIS BODY PART IS $1949.00 FROM DUCATI. ASKING $950.00 OR WILL ENTERTAIN SERIOUS OFFERS.

THE PIECE WILL BE PROFESSIONALLY PACKAGED BY A SHIPPING COMPANY TO ENSURE THE BEST CHANCE FOR A SAFE DELIVERY. IT IS A LARGE PIECE SO I AM SETTING A FLAT SHIPPING RATE OF $50.00. THIS WILL INCLUDE INSURANCE AND A SIGNATURE WILL BE REQUIRED UPON DELIVERY.

PLEASE VIEW ANY INCLUDED PICTURES CAREFULLY AND ADDRESS ANY QUESTIONS / CONCERNS PRIOR TO OFFER / PURCHASE.

*PLEASE NOTE*

Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE Review & Road Test

Wed, 19 May 2010

The Land Rover Freelander 2 TD4 HSE It was always something of a paradox, the original Land Rover Freelander. On paper it seemed to be all the car you could need. An iconic badge strapped to a real 4×4 of a sensible size that could cope with the urban jungle and had almost as much off-road ability as its brethren.

Oh, puh-leeze: Lighten up, people

Rarely do I come to the defense of a competitive member of the fourth estate, but the people at Car and Driver are getting the hooey knocked out of them by everyone from "professional media representatives" to the NASCAR faithful. What was CD's egregious sin? Its editors concocted an April Fool's joke with them good ol' boys Chrysler and General Motors as its punchline.
