The 4 valve Ducati Desmoquattro engine, with water cooling and fuel injection was designed by Massimo Bordi and powered the 1987 Ducati 851, the first of the modern era Ducati sports & racing bikes 

Not only did it transform the Ducati company, It went on to dominate Superbike racing. 

The basic design lives on in all modern Ducati Road & Racing models, including the latest Panigale Sports and Desmosedici MotoGP bikes

The Peugeot 107 (pictured) and the Citroen C1 are being recalled for faulty accelerators Update: We have heard from Citroen who tell us just 36 C1s in the UK are affected by the sticking accelerator problem. Update 2: We’ve now heard from Peugeot who say 6,000 Peugeot 107s in the UK are affected by the faulty throttle pedal. This last few days have turned out to be a real nightmare for Japanese car makers, with first the Toyota recall for a sticking accelerator and then the Honda Jazz/Fit recall for a faulty electric window switch.

Alfa offers new vintage: the Unique Alfa customisation programme

Chrysler reveals SEMA projects

Chrysler teased a few of its SEMA vehicles in sketches earlier this month; now the company has unveiled its entire stand. Its display area at the Las Vegas Convention Center will show off 20 customized vehicles running the gamut from the Chrysler 300 to the Ram pickup and new Jeep Cherokee. The Ram Sun Chaser, in Vibrance Orange Blast and Brilliant Black, is based on the 1500 Quad Cab.
