And so it seems – even though almost a year has passed – with the reveal today by Peugeot of what will be the world’s first diesel hybrid when the 3008 HYbrid4 starts to hit the road in 2011. You couldn’t get a much better starting point for a hybrid than the 3008 Crossover (read our review of the Peugeot 3008 if you have any doubts).
Is the Volkswagen BlueSport Roadster back on?
Sun, 05 May 2013There was talk that VW needed at least three of its brands to take the BlueSport project in to production, and there was talk not just of a VW Bluesport but also a SEAT BlueSport, one from Skoda, another from Audi and even a Porsche BlueSport. But in the end, not a single part of VW’s vast group seemed enamoured enough with the BlueSport to take the project forward. But it now looks as though the idea of the BlueSport is far from dead, with VW’s design boss, Walter de Silva, declaring that he’s a big fan of the BlueSport project, and he’s far from the only one in the VW Group who feels the same.
Honda recalls CR-V to fix control-arm problem
Fri, 23 Mar 2012Honda is recalling about 1,300 copies of the 2006 CR-V to inspect and possibly replace the right-front lower control arm. Honda says that the part could have been made with an improper welding process. Over time the control arm could break at the weld.
