Davis Unified Ignition (performancedistributors.com) reworks a Delco points distributor and installs a magnetic pickup similiar to a HEI and puts a high performance module on an aluminum bracket on the outside of the distributor case. I bought this item NEW for $299 which included the matching coil (included). I also am including in this auction. a NEW ACCEL tan cap with brass inserts and matching rotor. I used the coil for a few days but never installed the distributor. Cap is new in box. Comes with product catalog and paperwork when purchased. Distributor advance has 22 degrees (crank) at 3000 rpms. Set your timing at 10 to 14 initial and you are good to go depending on your compression ratio and cam. The B-Max essentially replaces the fuddy-duddy (but quite strong-selling) Fusion in Europe and is one of the key reasons why we're not getting the EcoSport baby SUV shown at the Delhi motor show in January 2012.

Toyota says software glitch in data boxes can give faulty speed readings
Tue, 14 Sep 2010A top Toyota executive says the crash data boxes in its vehicles are reliable but a bug in the software that reads the information can provide inaccurate vehicle speeds. The disclosure comes as the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration continues its investigation into unintended acceleration of Toyota models. “Toyota has acknowledged previously that the event data recorders are not accurate,” said Takeshi Uchiyamada, executive vice president in charge of research and development.
