Ferrari 458 Italia is the latest masterpiece from Maranello
Tue, 28 Jul 2009Ferrari has drawn from the visual spirit of the Enzo to create a power-packed replacement for the F430 that shuns the rounded curves of its past V8s in favor of chiseled, unmistakable aggression. Boasting a new 4.5-liter V8 engine, a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and a 202-mph top speed, Ferrari has revealed that the car--code-named F142 and long rumored to be named the F450--will be called the 458 Italia. Following Ferrari lore, it stands for a 4.5-liter engine with eight cylinders, though why Ferrari thought people would forget it came from Italy is anybody's guess.
Hyundai Veloster Turbo Confirmed
Tue, 01 Nov 2011Hyundai Veloster to get new 204bhp Turbo When Hyundai revealed details of the Veloster Coupe – the successor to the successful Hyundai Coupe – we found lots we liked and, really, just on thing we didn’t – its paucity of power. All the new Veloster had to offer was theĀ 138bhp 1.6 litre GDI petrol which, although quite frugal, didn’t exactly light a fire of desire for the Veloster in the way we would have liked. So when we reported a couple of weeks ago that Hyundai had revealed a couple of new engines in Korea – a 204bhp turbo and a 150bhp diesel – we rather hoped that Hyundai would see fit to bolt both in to the Veloster sooner rather than later.

MarketWatch reported on Wednesday that parking lots are going the way of airplane luggage: Bigger means more expensive. The report found that Manhattan garages charge $10-$15 more per day for oversized vehicles.
