Jaguar XJ – the ‘All-Star’ car
Tue, 11 Jan 2011The Jaguar XJ receives Automobile Magazine's All Star Award No, ‘All Star’ doesn’t refer to celebs who’ve fallen for the charms of Jaguar’s new XJ, from our own Jaguar-loving Richard Madeley to rap’s own Mr Jay-Zed who featured a new XJ in a recent vid. The ‘All Star’ here is the All-Star Award from America’s Automobile magazine who’ve decided that the new XJ deserves an award, just as the Jaguar XF deserved the same accolade in 2009 and 2010. Bristol Cars is sold to Frazer-Nash
Wed, 20 Apr 2011Bristol Cars has been sold. Kamkorp Autokraft, part of the Frazer-Nash group, has announced it has successfuly acquired the assets of Bristol Cars from the administrators. Bristol entered administration last month, and CAR reported on a potential sale last week.
Musk says no recall after Tesla Model S fires
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Following a series of collisions resulting in vehicle fires, Tesla Motor’s Elon Musk recently told Bloomberg that the electric Model S will “definitely” not be recalled by the automaker. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has agreed -- so far. NHTSA decided against a full investigation after the second Model S fire in October.
