The Filter
Save money and purchase a whole case of 12 filters. This new Racor PFF50216 type coalescer filter meets the current new GM Duramax fuel filtration requirements. Filter has a longer life and better contaminant and water removal under adverse conditions. These filters are manufactured by Racor here in the USA and are first fit on new Duramax vehicles. GM recently specified new filtration requirements to better protect their Duramax engines. This new PFF50216 filter replaces the older PFF5544 filter. Filter includes necessary O-rings sealed inside the plastic bag. Filter meets the latest GM OEM specifications and is of the highest quality type coalescer filter. Contaminants are trapped throughout several layers of media and not just on the surface. Filter now holds twice the contaminants as the previous filter and will last much longer. New filter is also certified for biodiesel use. The PFF50216 represents GM’s final stage of their development for the best protection of their Duramax diesel engine. Fuel filter will fit all GMC and Chevrolet Duramax 6.6L diesel engine vehicles from 2001 through 2009. Replaces GMC part number 89016324, 97256734, 97385488, and Isuzu 8-97385-488-0. As Autumn Term Starts IAM Warns Drivers Of Distracted Youngsters
Wed, 03 Sep 2014LEADING road safety charity the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) has issued a warning to drivers to stay on their guard on their daily commute, as distracted youngsters make their way home from school at the start of the autumn term. Many schools in England return from the summer break this week, and as is the case each year the risk of an accident becomes significantly greater as the school run brings with it a 20 per cent growth in rush hour traffic. While much has been said about watching out for youngsters on their way to school, the IAM has warned that a greater risk comes on the way home from school – where under 16’s are more likely to be distracted by playing with their friends, listening to music or interacting on social media on their phones.
