A used rebuilt polished 671 setup less intake for a Chevy Engine.

Blower was rebuilt by us around 5+ years ago and drive update.  Been sitting in customer's garage for that period.

Originally for a SB Chevy with a 3 groove crank pulley (for Power Steering and A/C).

Has dual carb adapter top to work with either Holley 1850 inlines or Edelbrock/Carter AFBs.   Carb adapter will NOT work with dual 4150 holleys.

Customer decided to move up to an 871 for a BB Chevy and traded this in.

Drive length is long enough to work on BB Chevy.

Buyer gets a choice of bottom end and belt to work on EITHER a SB Chevy or BB Chevy with 2 groove.

Will provide belt, v-groove and lower blower pulley to fit ONE or the other.

Buyer will need to buy a Weiand 7136 or BDS 8006 for a SB or a Weiand 7151 or BDS 8026 for a BB.

No intake included in auction.

No warranty expressed since it's past warranty.

Will ship UPS Ground to US Addresses.

Drive length might accomodate other engine applications.

Porsche 911 GT3 new engine production starts April 22nd 2014

Sun, 13 Apr 2014

The new engines for the Porsche 911 GT3 (pictured) start production this month The recall for the Porsche 911 GT3 after a couple of fires forced Porsche to evaluate the cause – and stop further production – now looks to have not only been resolved, but a fix is soon to be available. But Porsche is taking no chances with any sort of sticking plaster fix and is instead building new engines for the 911 GT3, with optimized piston rod screw connection – the cause of the problem – to make sure nothing goes wrong again. Porsche are planning to start production of the revised engine on 22nd April and will be despatching engines out to dealers shortly thereafter for them to fit to the affected cars.

Ford’s new Active Door Edge Protector When Adam was a lad, dings on the edges of doors caused by careless passengers opening a door without any thought were mitigated by a quick trip to Halfords for a set of clip-on plastic door-edge protectors. But when the source of a potential story is as reliable as Georg Kacher – a giant (physically and metaphorically) of a journalist with uncannily strong connections to those within the Germany industry – there's good cause to pay attention. His 'predictions' rarely fail to materialize.
