New Mercedes C-Class AMG Line revealed
Thu, 26 Dec 2013New Mercedes C-Class AMG Line revealed The 2014 Mercedes C-Class was revealed just last week – and is heading to the Detroit Auto Show next month for its public debut – and it will be joined by this, the 2014 Mercedes C-Class AMG Line. Mercedes AMG Line models are the easy way to make your new diesel-engined C-Class look much more like the C 63 AMG than its prosaic engine would suggest to the casual observer and will be a popular option for those getting a bog-standard C-Class – with its low BIK rates – on the company. Jaguar XJ – the ‘All-Star’ car
Tue, 11 Jan 2011The Jaguar XJ receives Automobile Magazine's All Star Award No, ‘All Star’ doesn’t refer to celebs who’ve fallen for the charms of Jaguar’s new XJ, from our own Jaguar-loving Richard Madeley to rap’s own Mr Jay-Zed who featured a new XJ in a recent vid. The ‘All Star’ here is the All-Star Award from America’s Automobile magazine who’ve decided that the new XJ deserves an award, just as the Jaguar XF deserved the same accolade in 2009 and 2010. According to Automobile magazine: “The toughest part about this class is that it’s very hard for any one car to stand out in the crowd, and yet the XJ manages to do just that, in both its design and its dynamics.
Film Friday: Auburn Speedster tackles the Bonneville Salt Flats
Fri, 25 Apr 2014Inspired by a recent trip to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum in Auburn, Ind. (more to come on that soon!), we're diving into the historical film archives for some A-C-D goodness. And it doesn't really get any better than vintage footage of the classic Auburn 851 Boattail Speedster tearing up the Bonneville Salt Flats circa 1935 followed by a demonstration of the big Duesenberg streamliner, “The Mormon Meteor” thundering across the lake bed.
