This is a used, genuine Jaguar, re-surfaced flywheel for Series 3 V12 E Types. Part number is C37105. All the teeth are great except one of them has a chip. It started the car fine only you would hear a single "tick" per revolution as the car was being started. As you probably know, the correct steel flywheels like this are not being reproduced. 

The first picture of the teeth is how they all look except for the chipped tooth. The last three pictures are all of the one chipped tooth.

Aston Martin today unveiled the new 2011 V12 Zagato, a V12 Vantage supercar rebodied by Italian coachbuilder Zagato. We saw the first design sketch a few weeks ago, designed to mark the 50th anniversary of the gorgeous DB4 GT Zagato of 1961. Now Aston Martin and Zagato are unveiling the new V12 at this weekend's Villa D'Este concours in Italy.

It seems all automakers are tapping the social-media networks these days. From the Ford Mustang Mayhem package to the Toyota Prius plural campaign, conventional wisdom is there's nothing a few thousand Facebook fans can't handle. The latest automaker to hop the train is Honda, which is sponsoring a creative songwriting competition called the Sounds of Civic to mark the debut of the 2012 Honda Civic.

Jaguar Land Rover are to close one of their production facilities in the Midlands JLR unions have already brokered a deal to ensure no job losses in the short term, but JLR are committed to rationalising their manufacturing across just two plants in the UK, instead of the existing three. The decision will be made about which plant to close in the next eighteen months. The most likely scenario is that JLR will close Solihull – which currently produces Land Rovers and employs 5000 people – and concentrate Land Rover production at Halewood.
