2015 Lincoln Navigator gets a fresh face

The Navigator received its last visual updates in 2007, but today steps out with a fresh fascia and improved interior and exterior styling. Seven years is a lifetime in the car world, and the 2015 Navigator will have some pretty stiff competition in the luxury SUV class including the Mercedes-Benz GL and Cadillac Escalade.

But that’s exactly what’s happened with the increasingly impressive 1.0 litre EcoBoost from Ford which, as its power output has increased, has become a more and more popular engine of choice. The little Ford EcoBoost even seems to have persuaded buyers that they should forsake dirty diesel engines for it, and Ford has fitted 120,000 in the first six months of 2014 with almost half B-Max models, a third of Focus and 30 per cent of Fiestas getting the little wonder.
Who's Where: James Hope appointed Director of Design at Chery Motors
Fri, 30 Mar 2012James Hope has been appointed Corporate Director of Design at Chery Motors, the Chinese state-owned carmaker. He joins Chery from General Motors, where he held the position of Assistant Chief Designer since February 2008. Hope took up his new position on 16 January, based in Chery's Shanghai satellite studio from where he will report directly to Chen Anning, Chery's Head of Product Development.
