Art Center College of Design Summer Show 2007

Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, held its summer semester show in August, one of three graduation shows per year. The show featured work from 14 graduating students in the Bachelor of Science - Transportation Design program. Willie G. Davidson chosen to receive 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award

Willie G. Davidson, Senior Vice President and Chief Styling Officer at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, has been chosen to receive this year's EyesOn Design Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology. Regarded as the most prestigious award in automotive design, each year's EyesOn Design Lifetime Achievement Award winner is chosen by the industry's top designers and award winners from previous years.

Jaguar design through the eyes of art students

London's Clerkenwell Design Week runs from May 21-23, serving as the United Kingdom's leading independent design festival. Jaguar is the primary sponsor this year and for the event, it challenged students at the Royal College of Art to create a joint exterior and interior form study which “expresses their vision of future Jaguar design language in either a sports or luxury context.” Ewan Gallimore and Claire Miller won the contest with the F-type skeleton pictured, beating eight other teams. "We began the project by looking at light, specifically the way the light falls within the space at Clerkenwell," said Gallimore and Miller.
