Honda designers talk about Tokyo concepts

With the Tokyo motor show now firmly in our rear view mirrors, Honda has made us aware of a new addition to its website that highlights the numerous concepts the Japanese company had on show at the exhibition. Answering the question: ‘ What makes people feel good?' Honda designers take us through each of the seven concepts showcased at the Tokyo show, including the RC-E electric motorcycle; E-Canopy three-wheeled scooter; MotorCompo folding scooter; TownWalker mobility vehicle; AC-X show car; Micro Commuter Concept and the EV-Ster electric roadster. Rolls-Royce Wraith (2013) second teaser of 600bhp coupe

This is part three of Rolls-Royce’s pre-Geneva motor show tease of its new Wraith coupe. We’ve already seen a ghostly interpretation of the Spirit of Ecstasy figurine, and a side profile shot that revealed a resemblance to a ’68 Mustang Fastback, and now Rolls has shown the rear of the Wraith, and made a few proud proclamations about just how powerful its new super-coupe will be. I can’t see much of the new Rolls-Royce Wraith… Unfortunately it’s another shadowy teaser from Rolls-Royce, in the same vein as the side profile silhouette.

Local authorities cashing in with CCTV fines

Councils are turning to CCTV cameras and spy cars to raise £312m in revenue, that’s according to Traffic Spies, a report published by civil liberties group, Big Brother Watch. Using a series of freedom of information requests, the group has discovered that many councils are continuing to use CCTV to hand out fines, despite the government’s Surveillance Camera Code of Practice, which highlights the need to use CCTV for traffic offences “sparingly”.
