How Lumiscaphe software delivers for Eagle Ottawa

Real-time visualization software is transforming the speed and ease with which design teams can develop interior proposals, saving time and money in the process, as Lumiscaphe's visualization designer and Eagle Ottawa China's Design Director of the Asia Pacific region discussed with Car Design News. Petrolhead spiders cause Mazda recall

Mazda has had to recall 42,000 vehicles in the US after it emerged that a species of spider had been weaving webs in fuel vent hoses, increasing the risk of fuel leaks and fires. The yellow sac spider’s curious domestic activities cause a build-up of pressure in the evaporative fuel vent that – in theory at least – could result in a cracked fuel tank and therefore an increased risk of fire. This isn’t the first time that the Mazda 6 has received the unwanted advances of a gas-guzzling arachnid, either – three years ago Mazda had to recall over 50,000 cars for precisely the same reason.

Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG coupe revealed

Mercedes-Benz has followed up the debut of the C-class coupe at the Geneva motor show with the unveiling of this new range-topping version, the C63 AMG coupe. Set to land in North American showrooms in September following a planned debut at next month's New York auto show, the new BMW M3-challenger receives the same updated mechanical package as the recently facelifted C63 AMG sedan. It will be sold from the outset as a 2012-model-year car.
