Offered for sale is an original, unpainted Headlamp Ring. In the course of time, it has oxidized in spots and sustained some scratches. It is classified as "Used". It initially had a "golden" bloom on it, but was polished off in an attempt to determine where the spots and scratches were and make them more evident for these photos. The spots and scratches could be cleared up with a liberal coat of primer prior to painting. GM replaced chrome rings with painted metal rings on their 1961's and 62's (to make the car appear "longer"). These have two holes on the upper brow to attach the chrome extension moldings.   This is an authentic GM part, not a reproduction, and it carries the GM Part # 3779239. GM has discontinued production of this part.

However, Italian car maker Fiat isn't yet totally ruled out of the running, as Magna's chief exec earlier today intimated that he could be interested in cooperation.CAR Online will update with the latest developments as they happen.

Several local councils, including Enfield in north London and York boroughs, are now using CCTV cameras to capture illegal parking.
