Coventry University students prepare for the MA Design Degree Show

MA students from England's Coventry University Automotive Design course are preparing for their annual degree exhibition. This year's Show, entitled '15' will present fifteen students work from the fifteen month course in the new Coventry Transport Museum in the centre of the city.   The projects on show cover the full spectrum of vehicle concepts ranging from a luxury car inspired by Chanel perfume to a future proposal for a New York taxi and students have taken a wide variety of starting points for their project research.

The 2012 Korean Grand Prix has a Red Bull front row after Mark Webber snatched pole from Sebastian Vettel. McLaren’s Hamilton is third. Qualifying for the Korean Grand Prix in Seoul this morning looked like it was heading Red Bull’s way, with Sebastian Vettel strongest in Q1 and Q2.

Koenigsegg to celebrate 100th car with special model

Koenigsegg, Swedish makers of stunning supercars, are planning a very special model to celebrate their 100th car. Christian Von Koenigsegg founded his eponymous supercar company back in 1994, but it took until 2002 for the first customer car to be delivered. That first car was the Koenigsegg CC8 (a development of Christian’s original CC prototype) which featured bespoke everything – from chassis to suspension and brakes – but utilised a Ford 4.7 litre V8.
