Infiniti M Line (2010/2011) – M37 & M30d – at Geneva +video

Mon, 22 Feb 2010

Infiniti are debuting the Infiniti M Line at the Geneva Motor Show Back in December Nissan released a heap of detail on their range-topping Infiniti – the Infiniti M Line – aimed at European buyers of the 5 Series and E Class. But sadly for us we’re not going to get the real halo Infiniti M Line – the M56 – instead we have to make do with the 3.7 litre V6 petrol – the M37 – and the 3.0 litre diesel – the M30d. We will be getting the M35 hybrid later, but that doesn’t look as if it’s Geneva bound.

Up in smoke: Smokey Yunick's garage burns

Tue, 26 Apr 2011

Legendary NASCAR mechanic Smokey Yunick closed the "Best Damn Garage In Town" long before he died in 2001. But the main concrete-block, tin-roofed building on Beach Street in Daytona Beach, Fla., remained a stop on the NASCAR history trail for visiting faithful until Monday night, when fire destroyed the building. The building housed Yunick's office and a medium-size garage and more recently served as office space for Carbon Press, the publishing company that Yunick's daughter, Trish, operates and which produces products that include Yunick's salty 1,100-page autobiography and biographies of other racing personalities.

Infiniti Q50 (2013) teaser video of new sports saloon

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

The first car to emerge under Infiniti's new naming structure will be the Q50, due at the Detroit motor show in January 2013. The Q50 will replace the rare-groove G37 saloon, and attempt to propel Nissan's luxury arm into the hotly contested small exec saloon battleground. Infiniti Q50: the first details While the Q50 will fight established posh saloons like the BMW 3-series and Mercedes C-class, it'll also spawn a Q60 two-door coupe and cabriolet range, like its German rivals.
