Chevrolet Orlando MPV Paris debut

The Chevrolet Orlando MPV (left) seems a bit bland after the concept (right) Chevrolet first penned the idea of the Chevrolet Orlando with a concept in 2008 (which you can see on the right in the picture above). That has now turned in to the production Orlando which will debut at the Paris Motor Show in October, but it does seem to have lost something in the process of going from concept to production. Quelle surprise (well, it is the Paris Motor Show).

Michelin launches 2013 Challenge Design

Michelin has announced the brief for the annual Michelin Challenge Design competition, themed ‘HALF! Lightweight with a Passion'. Pre-registration for the 2013 automotive design competition begins October 1, 2011.

KTM halts production of the X-Bow two-seater as inventory grows

With sales well below expectations and 80 units reportedly unsold, Austrian motorcycle company KTM has temporarily halted production of the ultralight X-Bow two-seat sports car. KTM officials originally expected sales of 1,000 units a year. But that lofty goal is being scaled back to between 200 and 300 units a year.
