Tank Grips, left and right side, clear or black

Manufactured in the UK from high quality polyurethane, these traction pads are designed to be applied to the fuel tank recesses next to the riders knees and come pre-cut to size.

Not all tank grips are the same, and choice is usually down to rider preference. Race developed in BSB and Isle of Man TT for the more aggressive race or track-day rider, Eazi-Grip PRO Tank Grips features a unique, circular embossed pattern, with a flatter, lower profile that combines excellent grip and durability with exceptional rider feel. PRO Tank Grips have been specifically designed to allow greater movement on the bike whilst giving high levels of grip when needed through corners and under heavy braking.

Available in clear or black - please select colour when ordering.

    • High quality polyurethane with low profile, circular embossed surface
    • Provides outstanding feel and movement but with superior grip when needed
    • Suitable for race, track days and more enthusiastic road riders
    • Non-abrasive - kind to riders leathers
    • Cut to size - quick and easy to apply - instructions and IPA surface cleaner provided
    • Road and track use only - not suitable for off-road use

Application

Peel back part of the release liner then press the tank grip firmly onto the tank and slowly peel back the liner whilst applying the grip. Push down the surface and take care not to trap air bubbles as you go. Allow 48 hours for the adhesive to fully bond before using the grips. Use an IPA cleaner to prepare surface area NO methylated spirits/petrol/lighter fluid etc. as these leave behind a thin, greasy residue. For best results ensure prepared surface is abov 10oC.

Also available from our store - Eazi-Grip EVO Tank Grips

Eazi-Grip EVO tank grips have a soft but durable domed surface that is very easy to grip, giving the rider increased control with minimal effort, thereby reducing fatigue and and reducing wear to the riders leathers or clothing. Eazi-Grip EVO Tank Grips tend to suit the less aggressive rider (primarily road and occassional track use) and are a great alternative to more abrasive, higher priced tank grips available on the market.

Don't Get Stranded

Trackpro now stocks quality radiator and oil cooler guards from Cox Racingroup.

Cox Racingroup Radiator Guard

Manufactured from 100% anodised aluminium, Cox Racingroup guards are designed to protect your bikes fluid cooling systems from gravel and other dangerous debris that can bring your race or track day to a premature end or leave you stranded at the roadside.

Guard frames are cut from .060 5051 sheet aluminum and feature a weld-free design for superior strength and longevity. The screens are cut from .034 expanded aluminum. Both frame and screen are anodised to provide an attractive, durable, chip-free finish.

Foam pads supplied help isolate the guard from vibration and maintain a safe gap (around 10mm) between the guard and the radiator. This "crush zone" provided by the pads is used to absorb medium to large impacts and keep heavy objects such as bolts a safe distance from the radiator core.

Jaguar confirms small saloon – and gets the thumbs up from Number 10

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

Jaguar will launch a small saloon beneath the XF in 2015, the company confirmed on the eve of the Frankfurt motor show. The baby Jag (seen testing as a disguised evaluation mule in our spy shots gallery) will be constructed from aluminium and built in the West  Midlands, creating around 1700 jobs. The news prompted a call to Jaguar from the office of Prime Minister David Cameron, offering Number 10's congratulations and support with the company's product expansion.

50,000 copies of the 2012 Honda Civic recalled over driveshaft issue

Tue, 12 Jun 2012

About 50,000 copies of the 2012 Honda Civic are being recalled because of a potential issue with the left driveshaft. The automaker claims that the driveshaft “may not have been properly assembled, potentially allowing it to separate from the outer CV joint while in operation.” While such a separation could result in total loss of power to the wheels and the inability to securely park the vehicle without the use of the parking brake, Honda claims that no incidents related to the issue have been reported. Earlier this year, Honda recalled about 45,800 Honda Odyssey minivans for faulty tailgate struts, 8,700 Honda Pilot and Acura MDX SUVs to fix a problem in the fuel tank, and 1,300 copies of the Honda CR-V to correct a control-arm problem.

Domagoj Dukec on BMW's 2 Series [w/Video]

Mon, 28 Oct 2013

Following last week's reveal of the BMW 2 Series Coupé, the carmaker has released a video featuring head of exterior design Domagoj Dukec, in which he talks us through the car's design. The video, which also features BMW product manager Thomas Ebner, sees Dukec explaining how the three air intakes at the front – which also integrate the Air Curtain technology – set a marker for the car's "sportivity", before he explores the way in which new design features such as the grille and headlamps differ from those of its predecessor, the 1 Series. Moving on to to the side profile, he discusses what makes the silhouette typically BMW and what separates it from bigger coupés, while identifying the DLO as a special feature of the 2er.
